Illyrian Airways launches operations in Kosovo on November 28

Illyrian Airways (Pristina) launched scheduled operations on November 28, 2010 as the new airline of Kosova. Using a wet leased Boeing 737-36M OM-CCA (msn 28333) from CCA Airlines (Slovakia), the new airline is operating from Pristina and Skopje to Rome.

The name comes from the ancient Illyrian languages that were spoken in the western part of the Balkans.
