Southwest Airlines goes after US Airways on the Boston-Philadelphia route

Southwest Airlines (Dallas) yesterday (June 27) began new nonstop service between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Initially, Southwest will start with five daily nonstops between the two cities. These new flights come in addition to Southwest’s service between other Boston-area airports and PHL:

Four nonstops to/from T. F. Green International Airport in Providence (PVD) and PHL.

Four nonstops to/from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT) and PHL.
