American reconfigures 18 Boeing 757-200s

American Airlines (Dallas/Fort Worth) is reconfiguring 18 (of 124) Boeing 757-200s with new interiors featuring 16 next-generation, angled lie-flat seats in a 2-2 seating in Business Class. The Economy section with 166 seats will also receive new seats. The adapted Five Sevens will be assigned to long-range trans-Atlantic and Latin American routes. The first flight was on May 7 between New York (JFK) and Brussels.
