Colgan Air (2nd) (Manassas) retired its last two Beech (Raytheon) 1900Ds in February. The company started operating the Beech 1900C in August 1992. Besides its own operations it operated the two types as a Continental Connection and US Airways Express carrier. Today Colgan operates 14 Bombardier DHC-8-402s (Q400s) for Continental and 34 SAAB 340Bs for Continental, United and US Airways. Six SAABs were retired in the fourth quarter of 2008.

The unique feature of this aircraft was that is was a late prototype and featured two airstair doors (no cargo door)
